India Guide Book
My wonderful friends Coralie and Bettina are venturing to India next month, wish I was going in their back packs! I put together some notes on the adventures I had in India, which brought back some fantastic memories. Looking forward to getting to India next month myself for a buying trip for work, can't wait for the smells and a good Tali.

Never seen before....
What a great way to start the weekend, a friend sent me these never seen before images of the most beautiful Marilyn Monroe. Taken from the set of 'The River Of No Return' 1953, for a photo shoot for life magazine. These stunning shots never made the magazine. Soon to be released these and a 100 other images as well as essays and personal letters will make the book entitled August 1953: The Lost LOOK photos. This will be on the Christmas wish list, the perfect addition to my collection.

Where I Lived, and What I Lived For...
"I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately,
to front only the essential facts of life,
and see if I could not learn what it had to teach,
and not, when I came to die,
discover that I had not lived."

Love Edward Lear
Passed down by generations in the Stewart family, the most wonderful book. I could read Nonsense for hours.
Pussy said to the Owl, "you elegant fowl!
"how charmingly sweet you sing!
"O let us be married! to long we have tarried:
"but what shall we do for a ring?"
They sailed away for a year and a day,
To the land where the Bong - tree grows,
And there in the wood a Piggy - wig stood,
With a ring at the end of his nose,
His nose,
His nose,
With a ring at the end of his nose,
"Dear pig, are you willing to sell for one shilling
"Your ring?" said the piggy "I will"
So they took it away, and were married next day
By the turkey that lived on the hill.
They dined on mince, and slices of quince,
Which they ate with a runcible spoon;
And hand in hand,on the edge of the sand,
They danced to the light of the moon
